Brand new/used skates, bought from my friend deJenerate:

Riedell 695’s on a laser cut nylon plate, Radar wheels.  The bearings are on loan so I need to replace those, also need some nice fat stoppers (in a pretty color, amirite?)

I can’t wait to get these out on the rink but I’m also kind of dreading adjusting to something else new.  (Yes, I fear change.)  Although when I took them out for a test spin I couldn’t even think, they were so nice.  I don’t know how to describe: cushions, clouds, marshmallows?  Something soft but smooth.  I’m not talking about my feet but about the feel between the rink & the wheels.  It was like night & day.  Sigh…
