Last night the coach had me do a sequence of: 30 pushups, 30 situps, 30 squats & then 20 of each, 10 of each & 5 of each. Thanks to Jen’s encouragement & abuse I made it through. Extra bonus: she walked me through yoga stretches at the end. Thank you Jen!
My arms felt like limp noodles afterwards. Today I am slightly sore & achy. Practice was canceled so I came home & took a hot bath. Mmmmmm…
Other highlights of last night:
- I spent the 2 hours before practice on & off the rink surprising myself. I think I am actually, finally getting better!
- My friend Chrissy bought her first pair of derby skates – yay!
- I bought a new/used pair that are A-MAZING. I will do a whole post on them over the weekend.
