I had the fortune to be able to take a long weekend with an old friend at the beginning of February this year.  I’ll be sloooooowly posting some of the photos over the next few weeks.  I AM that lazy, yes.  The following are from my first day in Virginia.

My first visit to Five Guys, if you can believe that.  They had just installed the awesome-machines, I mean, the multiple flavor soda machines with a touchscreen.  Yes, these are new to me also.

This is where my friend lives – These buildings and many others in the area have been turned into lofts. I loved her place.

Amy (my friend’s friend) and Holly (my friend).  My name is also Amy & our birthdays are on the same day.

Amy – she was like a gangster little pixie that night in her hoodie & sweats.

Holly treated me to a manicure the day after I got there.

This man walked in while we were eating pizza.  He is a historical guide & he speaks in Ye Olde Skool English.  An interesting character.
